Fourty minutes of hard work and then ten minutes of meditation, which could preferably be longer. Actrice Kiki van Deursen trains three times a week in the hot cabins.

‘I enjoy the balance the most' she says. 'Fourty minutes of hard work and then ten minutes of meditation, which I would prefer to be much longer. bbb coach Maartje has also made a few personal programmes for me. For the arms and shoulders, the legs and buttocks and the waist and stomach. I often do my own programme for half an hour, then a half hour bbb 30 and then fiftien minutes on the bike. Then I feel I've had a good workout.'

Kiki is known from the tv series Smeris, A'dam en E.V.A, van de Parade or other theatre shows. She has been training now for a few years in Amsterdam and has been a real ambassador for bbb. 'It is the atmosphere and peaceful enviroment that appeals to me. I find it important to be fit but don't need to go to a sport school.'

‘I try to train three times a week but if I am working a lot then I often only manage to train twice a week. For a long time I was very busy shooting the drama serie 'De affaire' (which has had it's opening at the Nederlands Filmfestival) in which I play a lead role opposite Peter Blok. We were also working on the third season of 'Smeris' (with Jeroen van Koningsbrugge and Dennis van de Ven), rehearsing for the theatre show 'Man Don't Break' and busy writing my own show.'

So then she trains just twice a week. 'I also had a stop for a month, due to work commitments. My body felt it immediately; my muscles felt much weaker. When I train I feel a lot happier and fitter. What's also important for me is that I see it on television. I mainly look at my acting but I also see the effect shaping at bbb has on my body.' Laughing: 'I turned thirty this year so I realise that I have to work a bit harder.'
